Thanks Bill! My 110 today has really buoyed me up!My confidence and ability is ever increasing, just got to keep doing what I'm doing, it's working!
From such a modest beginning to WL, a 250 total, and especially 265 seemed impossibly far away, and now they're realistic targets, albeit a fair way into the future

Just saw this on FB but it didn't say what the weight was. I almost couldn't believe it was 2x25kg plates each side, just because of how quickly you've got up to this sort of weight since you knackered your shoulder. In 12-months 150kg+ must be a real target?
Awesome work Dave.

Cheers chaps!
My 'gym total' is now 110 / 135, so making really good progress. Nearly two years since I spannered my shoulder and less than a year since I started trying to be a weightlifter, so really happy!
English qualification for me is 265, and I'd very much like to qualify for the English 2016. So realistically I need to total that (and more!) by the end of this year.
There's more to come on the CJ, my Fr.Sq strength is lacking at the moment, costing me a lot of KG out of the hole. As you can see from the pull there is a lot more there, so I have increased my Fr.Sq frequency to make up 50% of all squats. Mid back strength (a hangover from my shoulder rebuild) is a little lacking in the first pull and receive, so some Sn.RDLs and RDLs have been included and are already helping. Dare I say it, but I don't think a 145kg clean is far away with the planned improvements?
I'm certainly eyeing up 120/150 this year.
