THE original and THE best ... Member 297, 2523 posts SQ 210, BP 155, DL 272.5637.5 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq | My appointment with the Surgeon went well today, and have been given the go ahead for surgery within 3 - 6 weeks, also iam on the last minute list! Ive opted to go for the incision op rather than key hole op. The key hole op goes through the belly button then across to the groin, and theres a higher risk of damage to bowels and organs. The incision op cuts the skin directly in front of the hernia and is less likely to touch any organs or bowels! Same operation procedure once inside, simply stitch a netting to the muscle wall, then re stitch the incision! Then the scar tissue then interwines in the mesh and makes the muscle wall strong again! Should be back to normal hopefully 6 weeks after the op! | ||
