Doesn't a loose(er) belt mean your s**t will get all snapped up on the heavy lifts?

So by that logic you think belts prevent injury?

This has been keeping me awake for a few nights now... Roll-Eyes

What is a belt used for and how would I use it to help me lift more weight?

Total noob question, I know.

I want to write why deficit deadlifts don't improve speed off the floor

But I can't be bothered

I might make a video one day ...

One day ...

You should never have your belt super tight on anything anyway imo. Should always be a gap there for you to push your abs/belly out into the belt.

That's the main issue. I wouldn't worry about adding anything else at the moment, you should improve just from deadlifting properly for now.

I concur.

ive always thought doing deficit deads to help from normal hight would be like doing normal deads to help a 11inch lift. ie they wont help much am i totally wrong?
