Deads 60x5 100x5 140x3 180x1 Mix grip, belt on 200x1 200x1 200x1 200x1 200x1 30 seconds between sets Deficit deads 200x1 225x1 250x2 - pb Would have gone for x3 if I thought I would have got it but happy with x2. Time to drop the weight back a bit. Steady session, I'm going away Friday for a week so just ticking over on squats till then. | |||

Its something I do a fair bit and its amazing how much easier each lift feels when you aren't worried about grip. At the end of the day you are never going to drop that beautiful eleiko comp bar on the platform. Cheers! The 5's are hard work, the aim is 250x5x5 in a few weeks, I'll have made some really good progress if I get that. I did use some straps a few weeks ago when I had a problem with grip, so yeah, I'll do it if I have to, it just feels like cheating a bit | |||
