is mince beef a solid source of protein?
I can't help but think it's s**te lol. But i've been eating 500g a day trying to gain that mass .
make it into a bolognese .. serious

Proper steak is less than that, so unless you're looking at cooked values, I think something is wrong. Uncooked beef mince can be 14-21g protein per 100g, depending on the fat content.
You get what you pay for - minced steak is generally better quality as it has to be from proper cuts, not "beef" which is any part of the cow.

I've fallen in love with mince recently. Chuck some herbs, spicy sauce, and a couple of egg yolks with it in a bowl and make some dench tasty burgers!

How come the protein content is so much higher than mince from everywhere else? Different cuts of meat? Is it a lot more expensive than other supermarkets' mince?
