Right on sunday im going to eat some breakfast, then i have a 2 hour drive, weigh in then i need to eat again about an hour before the comp starts.

What can i take to eat? i want something tasty and full of carbs and protein. any reccomendations?

Get to comp, weigh in then I eat cereal bars and drink powerade, usually 2-3 bottles and about 6-8 decent sized cereal bars. Some people eat cake, choccy bars or sweets but I am not a fan of choccy bars etc. I try and not eat within about an hour of the warmup. About 30mins before caffeine tabs and sip water.

Oh and I personally dont worry too much about protein on the day of a comp, maybe have some protein at breakie, and then have a big fat juicy steak after the comp. At the BDFPA British there was a chippy opposite, F&C went down a treat.

HAHAHA no i ate nothing.

on a serious side i tryed to eat my rice and chicken but was too bloated on water and lucozade to eat so had to resort to cereal bars

Firstly, join a Fed with a generous 24 or 48 hour weigh in. Then eat like a pig for the next two days. I weighed in after needing to lose 3 kilo's in the sauna, and didn't stop eating and drinking from then until the comp. I weighed 109.5kgs on the entrants sheet and re-weighed myself on the comp sclaes at 115kgs on the day.

Night before a comp I always have a big Chinese with two or three cans of Guinness.

Breakfast before a comp needs complex carbs - porridge and fats, bacon and eggs, fried bread, mushrooms, lots of strong coffeee, OJ, etc.

Keep drinking isotonic or just water until you are pissing freely and regularly - you will then be fully hydrated. Have a few bananas handy to eat during the day, bit of flap jack as well perhaps.

This is what I do and I always feel tip-top on comp days.

I had a few cashews on waking, peanut butter and jam sandwiches for breakfast post-weighin, and a couple of cake bars during the comp plus carb drinks. I wanted to minimise the amount of s**tting necessary, which actually worked pretty well.

i dont see many mentions of ephedrine

i used to get way to nervy befor comps, I remember at the british last year me ,tony n rob hardly ate anything for brekky in our swanky hotel , so it was flapjack , soreen and milk at the venue

eph use is banned during comps for BWLA and BDFPA so for me thats a no go.
