Can anyone point me in the right direction where to buy a bench slingshot and what one you'd recommend ?

Be interesting to see how it fairs when it lands Grin

I'v got the red one and love it though mark bell says to start with the blue one, I guess it depends on how you want to use it and how strong you are.

If you want an official slingshot (Mark Bell), Reach Fitness is the official UK distributor.

Interested to see what he'd say for someone who's aiming for a 200kg bench like myself

I've gone for the Titan Ram to help me overload a bit when benching as well as using blocks etc...

Not keen on resistance bands as they seem to pull me out of line no matter how much I train with them!

Any suggestions?

The maddog slingshot would be worth a look, it's double ply.

I meant to say that I'm aiming for a 200kg bench unequipped. Never benched in a shirt and not that interested tbh, just want to see if a ram/slingshot will aid in my aim etc...

My understanding is ram has a better transfer to a shirted bench and slingshot raw.

But I honestly know nothing. And hungover

I've used the ram and hated it, felt like it was pulling me into a weird bench line similar to a shirt.

would a slingshot have any place in a 531 routine?

^^ Could use as assistance every now and then after your working raw sets. I found it takes a lot out of the joints after 3 weeks of use, bit silly to even try but Hey Ho.

My Bench is quite poor but find the maddog more than suitable.
