The mens results are here:
http://www.russprache.at/goodlift/online/mscoresheet.html

The womens results are here:
http://www.russprache.at/goodlift/online/wscoresheet.html

... they will be updated as the competition takes place over the next few days.

A quick glance at the mens roster and Great Britain have: Robert Palmer (82s), Benjamin Banks (110s), Dean Bowring (125s) and Brian Irwin (125+).

Best of luck to them, will be interesting to see how Dean Bowring gets on after his recent British total record.

Sad to see no Clive Henry or Phil Richards, and of course Big Jim is injured unfortunately.

Phil isn't there as his wife has just given birth to their son and I as far as I know, Clive has been taking some time out at the moment.

apologies to phil making 3 squats and a total well done good lifting seeing as he was also at home looking after new baby and wifeGrin
AvatarSparrow
Jaroslaw Olech won the 75's by that much that he would have also won the 82.5's and the 90's!!Eek

I can't believe Dean has bombed with 270 on the bench. I have seen him do 315 in training. This makes it the second worlds in a row. I bet he is not enjoying the banquet.

Siders bombing left the supers wide open - almost anyone of those guys could have won it on a good day.
AvatarBoar
yea, tony stevens isnt annoying atall !!!

**i know he is a legend**

some f**king great lifting !
AvatarBoar
that 131 bench !! its more gymnastics whilst holding the bar !! she didnt need blocks ! pete needs blocks.

hi jim as you know it's easy to hit big numbers in training or local comps with little or no presssure, but get to the worlds 3 ipf cat 1 refs and it can be a different story
