ok so i'm trying to monitor my macros and so far it's all going well except for breakfast. i don't like eggs and other than leftover chicken slung in a bagel, i'm struggling to find good protein available in the mornings. i know i shouldn't get too hung up about it but it dicks me over in the evening when i've gotta have a shake or something when i'd rather be getting it in with proper food.

any ideas?

don't have a blender but do have flavourless whey, may just get some oats and mix it in the old fashioned 'whey' lol.

thanks for replies

something i found easy to eat in the morning:

chuck a tin of tuna in a bowl
chuck in an egg (cracked obviously)
Mix about
Heat up pan
essentially stirfry it and add some sort of spice
half drain a tin of baked beans
add to pan and mix until hot
EAT

EASY

too much fat, means i can't have a dessert or something nice later in the evening lol. like i said if i'm feeling it i'll have it and just skip nice things later on in the day tbh. why, does that sound wrong? i was aiming for 65g fat, 300g carbs and 220g protein throughout the day. proper nutrition advice very welcome though Happy.

Trimmed back bacon is only 2.5% more fat than chicken breast and 7.5% less than chicken thigh.

Only around 2500 calories, is that about right for your weight? Seems low.

If you get the medallions only there's even less fat. Salt can be an issue though, so put them in a bowl of cold water overnight and the salt will leach out Happy
