Just wanted to get some events up for guys to start trainingThis is what I'm thinking 140 log for reps head to head Car Deadlift for reps around 300ish no suits straps are fine 270-280 squat for reps no suits or briefs. 145kg farmers 40m head to head Stones 175 over bar for reps, head to head Yoke 380 40m head to head Entry will be 15quid. Supplements, and trophies for top 3. Maybe some extra prizes if I can get something sorted I'm working on. Also may look at running a novice comp from 10-12.30 before the main event. This would be 5 events so will drop the squat 100kg log for reps head to head Car Deadlift for reps. Will be around 220-240. 112kg farmers 40m head to head 270 yoke 40m head to head 130 stone for reps This will be 15 quid entry and will have supplement prizes for top 3 and t shirts for all. Date looking like 25may or 1st June I will cap the novice at 20 guys Spectators will be 3 quid but all competitors can bring one person in for free and kids under 12 there is no charge. We really need to get our act together in the south after last years shambles of only 4 wanting to qualify. Even if you feel you can't do the squat or maybe the Deadlift get your names down as its a 6 event comp. I have an idea of how it might work using two yokes as safety bars. I will wanna set them so they're just below parallel not so you have to touch | ||

I was quite surprised how well the free bar worked at last nights fit expo i dont recal seeing one high squat either ,very impressive | ||
