Looking at probably having to cap the number of competitors at 15 so I must stress only put your name down if your 100%. Also although I didn't really want to have to do it an entry fee looks unavoidable to cover some of the cost. Set this at £10, thought I'd let you know now so if your as skint as me it gives you plenty of time to save up. All competitors will recieve a t shirt and fingers crossed it looks like I might have some cool prizes lined up. | ||

Member 340, 13300 posts SQ 315, BP 190, DL 350855.0 kgs @ 110kgs UnEq | I'm a definate barring serious injury etc. Events look solid, nice classic feel to them, personally I would prefer the deadlift to be on an axle, as it is strongman not powerlifting, but at least on an oly bar it is one event everyone can train it with no disadvantage I guess. Tenner entry is perfectly reasonable. I don't really get the t-shirt thing and would rather the money was spent on putting on a good comp and giving the winner a cool prize (like my Fitlike sword  ). That said the t-shirt I got at the IAWA Sussex comp is nice and has survived many washes! Not a priority IMO though. | ||
