Raised the rack squat up another 2" and it actually made it harder rather than easier, band tension kicked straight in off the pin and was brutal from there on. The bench was a PB hopefully i'll be able to squeeze it out to 120kgx5? Heading back to uni tomorrow so will have to change to the power rack to do my band squats. Max out on Olympic squats, bench and deficit pulls later this week then heading back to Sheiko, 190/132.5/230? My deficit pull is weak as s**t, get this upto 250kg and I should be good for some gains.... | ||

Rack squat with bands sounds tought too Do you just put the band around the saftey bar and barbell, and when you come back up this creates the tension on the band to help with the final 3rd of the squat? | ||

Yeah, last year I used them exclusively for 4-5 weeks and my squat went up a good 10-15kg,bench around 10kg aswell. Only used twice for pulls, I can lockout around 340kg from the knee's so need to work the bottom end more first! | ||

Bench wasn't so hot today but meh. First time I've done 200kg squat without a belt so fairly happy with that. Stalled midway through but managed to lock it out. Gona max out on the deficit pulls working up later this week. | ||
