He's on to a 120kg powerclean as well, thought you might want to know, that is if you dont know it already of course.Wink

Happy Haha, no I didnt. I have cleaned 120kg a couple of years back, but this is my first venture back and this time its on crappy non spin gym bars Angry Hopefully this time with some practice i'll be heading towards 150kg within a year or so....

1) 3s PAUSED OLYMPIC SQUAT

60kgx3, 100kgx3, 120kgx1, 140kgx1, 155kgx1, 175kgx1

2) TNG BENCH

60kgx5, 80kgx5, 90kgx1, 100kgx1, 105kgx8 (6, 1,1, rest pause)

3) CLEAN DEADLIFT TO KNEE

NOTES;


Put the belt on today for the paused squats and was suprised, didnt expect 175kg (but went for it anyway)Grin At this rate I'll have that 200kg Olympic squat before the end of the year.

Clean deadlifts f**king suck, to think I can clean this weight and its a struggle to keep my upper back arched....what a pussy!Angry

Depends, sometimes twice, right now I'm doing 6 days a week. I find the frequency helps groove the lifts. Once I go back to Sheiko it will be back down to 4...

Very kind of you to call me a nice lad JC (as well as wierd lol). Yes I am around 120kg powerclean at the moment but did do 137.5kg a few months back. 150kg is also my goal on these Brad - fancy a race to get there? Oh yeah, welcome to the siteGrin

Haha, I think you've got a good head start on me there then, I could probably pull 137.5kg high enough, but it would be about 8" out in front Grin But, yeah lets do it!

Whats your raw lifts like? I can't deadlift with an arched back for s**t, probably half the problem I expect. And finally....what brought your clean up? Grin

My raw lifts are s**t. I'm weak as piss all round at the moment but working on it. I'm a round back puller too. What brought up my power cleans, I dunno, just doing them I guess! I've got pretty crap technique though, I am unable to bend my legs to catch them.

Still, something obviously working for you! I watched those vid's of yours and how you still manage to jump with a rounded back i'll never know haha. Strong s**t though.

Tired from yesterdays squat maybe? Didnt feel so great as I was in the gym an hour after waking. Oh well. Db mili and upper back strength is getting better. Start to push some single legs and pooooossibly some deficit deadlifts shortly...really want to get my leg strength up alittle more first.
