NOTE FOR THOSE LOOKING TO INCORPORATE DELICIOUS SUNDAY ROASTS INTO THEIR BULKING

The 'British Protection pub' round the corner from Deansgate locks. Go down the road so that the bars are on your left. Come to a traffic light. Turn left. Come to another set of traffic lights. At this point you can turn left to the AMC cinemas and the G mex is in front of you. Instead, turn right at these traffic lights and immediately on your right is the pub.

Point is, for £7.95 they do an absolutely awesome roast. Huge portion for a pub lunch. Massive shank of lamb with veg and potato (and yorkshire pud if you're lucky), with mint sauce. They have nice cosy rooms to eat in with a fireplace if its cold.

They also do some sort of pie which contains wild boar and pigeon. Havn't tried this yet though.

Could put this in a separate thread but because I intend to go their often I feel it deserves a place in my log.

Cheers guys. The idea of doing them on a platform is that it increases the range of motion of the lift, thereby adding to better increases in mass of hamstrings, erector spinae, etc.

Not sure how true this. Only been doing them a short while so can't tell. But it gives you another variation of a heavy deadlift to do to add some variety into your exercises. Will probably be changing my deadlift after one more session.

Doubt I will be 'in shape' (ripped) for the summer.

Yeah the drink selection there is also amazing. You could spend days trying them out (and get extremely drunk in the process).
