maybe the videos of him on YouTube playing the accordion and training with what appears to be less than 100% seriousness irks the powers that be?
Like you say he's bigger than Russian weightlifting but not the Olympics so it's a great shame that he's not be able to compete for sports greatest accolade

His fall out with the fed is long standing do YouTube is not to blame
