dude, your 150 pull should be reported to the dubious PB committee - it was that easy. Honest, we should have had it on a video so you could see it. I think one thing you could start focusing is taking the strain and pain - you have more strength in you but i dont think you are digging as deep as you could.

Good milestone to break nevertheless. 182.5kg is the next one Grin

Yea this is true, you shouldn't really be worrying about the speed of a 5kg PB on deadlift either. Maxes will nearly always be grinds, get used to them so you can finish them off when you get a REALLY hard one!

f**k man, the others are right. You gotta get used to grinding through heavy reps. We dont measure PB's in speed, we measure weight.

Nice PB though, just a shame its a good 10-20kg below what you should bev doing Wink

i am pretty sure you did some narrow grip work with 70kg as well? Remember, trying to keep the elbows in, but not go with 60kg because that was too easy?

Mate ive been meaning to write this for a while, but ive been really impressed with your potential recently. I think if you nailed your diet right and sorted out a solid training plan you could make a VERY good lifter at around the 80kg mark.

I expect to see a 400lb deadlift out of you soon.

Rack Pull - above knee, lowest setting in power cage
8x60kg
5x100kg
5x120kg
5x140kg
5x150kg
3x160kg
1x170kg PB
1x175kg PB - failed 2nd rep

Felt good to have 385lbs in my hands. *remembers failing a 120kg DL because of grip*

Deadlift
5x60kg
4x100kg
1x140kg
1x155kg PB
1x160kg - fail 1/4 way
1x160kg - fail 1/2 way

Would have had the 160 if I hadn't done so many rack pulls, I think.

Pull-ups
5xBW
8xBW + 5kg
5xBW + 10kg

Lat Pulldown
5x84kg
5x84kg
5x84kg

DB Row
6x32.5kg
6x32.5kg
8x32.5kg

The deadlifts felt better because I focused on looking up and grinding them out. No hitching with 155. 160 was close. I need to attack the f**king bar instead of getting psyched out worrying about lifting it beforehand. That's what got it halfway instead of just off the floor about 2 minutes later.

The lowest setting in the rack is when you take the side spotters out and just use the beams... I know you're a bit on the small side, but 'above the knee'!? Wink

Nice work.
