Kept taking them back to pc world and changing them. In the end I got a netgear one and that worked f**king ace. I now have a Virgin super hub(netgear) which has it's advantages as it's a cable modem and wireless router all in one, and Virgin has to support the router. c**ts. moral of the story - get a netgear and f**k that linsky's piece of s**t right off.

The c**t-letter virgin sent to me conveniently omitted the monthly charges and only included the fitting charge. Needless to say their little sales attempt failed hard.

nothing to hide, please follow my life on webcam Member 255, 3732 posts | It's worth trying setting up as a wired connection. I had problems with wireless recently and it turned out to be the phone line and internal wiring not the router.

My opinions have run their course Member 694, 3112 posts | I have problems with my router in certain "patches" of my living room, I've found altering the angle of the aerial to be effective... or just moving seats. I should be more technical I've worked with computers for 7 years and just finished a degree in Electronic Engineering Lol

Needless to say their little sales attempt failed hard. not sure what they normally charge for the tivo i got it for free just had to buy the box ive been paying £85 a month with virgin for a few years now got all the v+ hd package they do with all the channels xtra box upstairs in kids room ,i got the same leaflet as you so rang up and had a moan that ive been paying so much for years and that it wasnt worth it and that was thinking of having it removed and going to sky, so they said if i pay £49.95 for the 500gb its mine to keep and i can keep the v+hd box ive already got and i can have the superhub with 50meg broadband at no extra monthly cost so i obliged maybe you can try that if you have been with them a while
