Since I got in I've had:
2 pints of milk
2 yorkies
Litre of OJ
Tube of pringles
Tub of cream cheese
2 chicken kievs
Half bag of curly fries
4 bread and butter
Half pound red leicester
Banana
Cranberries
Now gona have a party size 16 serving raspberry cheesecake and a cuppa.
Feeling a little better.
Since I got in I've had:

I thought i would put down todays food intake to a fellow fat bas***d as you are the only person i know who might be able to keep up !!!!
7am 1 1/2litres of Porridge bananna 3toast weghtgainer 2xtea, water
9.30 Full monty asda fry up + 2 bread ,1ltr choc milk, water
11.15 asda duck wraps x2 , chunky soup , bananna, block of choc ,prot shake
Sleep 2hours
1430 4xeggmayo turkey chutney cobs , 1lt porridge, choc, water
1615 post workout 2xenergy drinks 2xbananna
During workout Friji milkshake with weightgainer + prot bar
19oo tinned spag on 1 toast, water
2100 Old el paso smokey bbq wraps salad cheese 3 chicken breasts ,2magnum almond ice creams.
Before bed about midnight i will have 1 more shake

Was a little hesitant going into this workout after yesterdays frustrations, no sleep and a morning shift at work (during which I did eat a LOT admittedly)
Push presses were slow to warm up, right ankle still tight from saturday, so unracking the bar was pretty tricky, although it didn't seem to hinder my extension on the drive. Although the bruised shin from farmers soon let me know it was still there. 120kg was ponderous, 130kg was stuttery, and 140kg was a grinder, but it went. The 120 triples improved from poor on the first, to mediocre, to actually quite good and snappy.
Bench was easy, all reps paused and smooth, no effort really.
I'm beginning to see a few weaknesse and holes in the way I train. I lack any speed or dynamic work at the moment (whereas my 6 week post new year phase had plenty and I really feel I improved). I also seem to hit heavy session too often and expect them to be easy. For example yesterdays 275kg deads were 92% of my 300kg max and I'm expecting to do it easily, then bash out a ton of volume. Simply doesn't work like that. I get stronger this way but seem to gradually get slower and more ponderous. I do very little SPECIFIC accessory work to bring up my weak points. For example, my push press is weak, so I just hammer away at it a couple of times a week. Rather than doing standing lockouts for stability, jerks to maximise drive from the extension and volume to optimise technique. Etc etc etc
I think I've reached a level of development where I think just banging away in a loose wave system or linear fashion is no longer going to produce too many gains. Yes my lifts might creep up, but is that making me a better strongman..?
Anyhow, you can see why I didn't get much sleep! Things to add and adjust to the programme once ESM qualifier is out of the way. I'm fortunate in that I won't have to worry about tapering my training into the final LOL!
Overall, todays session was good enough.

Cheers mate, I'm in a bit of a bad place with my training at the moment, but I'm slugging away even if I am on the ropes lol!
