smack the shit out of my pubic bone Member 1902, 919 posts SQ 160, BP 110, DL 230500.0 kgs @ 85kgs UnEq | Thursday 24th Cleans: 40Kg, 1-1-1 60Kg, 1-1-1-1 80Kg, 1-1-1 40Kg, 1-1 60Kg, 1 80Kg, 1 90Kg, 1 100Kg, 1 110Kg, F-F 100Kg, F 90Kg, 1- Clean and Hang power clean Olympic squat: 60Kg, 3 90Kg, 3 110Kg, 3 120Kg, 3 Probably too many build up sets. 100Kg was fine, first fail at 110 hips too high, shoulders too forward which pulled me forward. Probably tired so set up position was crap. 110Kg will go next week. Played around with Olympic squats and they are definately a keeper. At the bottom of the clean my torso position is forward and not upright. i hope squatting this way will help with this. | ||

Mixed sesh, rushed rack to jerk on the log. Happy to get a PB though. Very slow progress on strict OH. | ||

Hoping pressing x3 a week a la Kev will help some. Rodger, I've forced myself to look at the vid, was really disappointed at the time as i was feeling fresh before hand. The mat was wet, so the stone maybe was as well? Just kept on slipping out, couldnt even lap it. not going to dwell on it as it was the same for 50% of the competitors. Just need a good stones sesh under by belt next week | ||

Important not to miss too many attempts. Still trying to plan my training sessions. General thoughts on weekly training: 1. Press 3 times and log at least once 2. Boar's kettlebell class (when the missus isnt at ante-natal yoga...) 3. One dedicated squat session 4. Deadlift twice 5. One full clean and one power clean session (Oly bar or axle) Not sure what this will end up looking like and will probably change... | ||
