I started training last year for strongman and did two novice comps, I placed mid table in both which I was quite happy with as it was only my first year.
Over the winter I dropped over 20kg in bodyweight so that I could compete in the u105 comps, unfortunately this resulted in major strength loss.
This year I hope to regain the strength that I lost and add to it.
Here are my current lifts and goals for the end of the year.
Deadlift 225kg (current) 265kg (goal)
Squat 140kg (current) 170kg (goal)
Bench 120kg (current) 140kg (goal)
Push press 110kg (current) 125kg (goal)
Log 100kg (current) 115kg (goal)
Power clean - Axel 110kg (current) 120kg (goal)
Farmers walk 125kg 20m (current) 140kg 20m (goal)
Yoke 280kg 20m (current) 300kg 20m (goal)
Yoke 300kg 10m (current) 320kg 20m (goal)

Cheers mate, I do feel a lot fitter after loosing the weight, I can now finish a 20m yoke run without collapsing on the floor, should make a big difference in the medleys.

Thanks mate, it took a while to get to 230kg, I'm hoping to add another 30kg on by the end of the year. I'm using the Ed Cohen deadlift routine at the moment and it seems to be working.
