percy Member 384, 353 posts SQ 250, BP 162.5, DL 287.5700.0 kgs @ 88kgs Eq | The Southern Counties Powerlifting and Single Lifts Championships(British Qualifying Divisional)takes place at Kings Park Athletic Centre,Bournemouth,BH7 6JD on Saturday 29th January (All Ladies classes and men up to 82.5kg)and Sunday 30th January 2011(men 90kg and above).Equipped and Unequipped.Entry forms and Posters are available to download from the EVENTS page on the BDFPA Web Site. Awards will be made to the first 3 in each weightclass and all age group winners.Best lifter awards will be made to Men and Ladies --Powerlifting/Squat/Bench/Deadlift.Best Junior and Teenager Powerlifter awards will also be made .(using BDFPA points system). Last year we had a very big entry and would like to cap this years event to 30 a day if possible.Cafe open all day.Free parking in Athletic Club car park. The BDFPA British Unequipped Powerlifting Championships and subsequently the European Championships take place later in the year at BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY! Drug Testing will take place!!.2011 BDFPA membership FORMS/information is also available on the BDFPA WEB SITE. percy Member 384, 353 posts SQ 250, BP 162.5, DL 287.5700.0 kgs @ 88kgs Eq | If a lifter is unable to compete on the designated day for their weightclass they can lift on the other day listed for the Championships.However, it may not be possible for them to compete for a championship award but their performance will count as a qualifier for the British if of high enough standard.If you would like to discuss this further for clarifuication please do not hesitate to contact me directly.Details on previous post. The 125 class has 4 entries and the 67.5/75/82.5 classes look good.We look forward to seeing you at the event at the end of January. Regards, Paul | ||

We intend using the new eleiko competition powerlifting bar on the competition platform.Warm up room is adjacent to the main platform and includes 3 warm up platforms inclung a powercage. Certificated scales,calibrated eleiko weights,national and divisional referees are confirmed at this time. Get your entries in now please if you have not done so so far.We look forward to a good turn out and a good weekends lifting. Thanks to those who have emailed or rung to let us know theirs is on the way.Anticipate 60/65 in total which is about our maximum at Kings Park.Several classes look really good .Already 12 Lifters in the 75s and a very competitive and quality 90kg class also.7 big guys at 125 or heavier so far. Pleased to welcome guests from the South East.Particularly Eric West(Sunbury) who has done so much for us in the past. Good to see a good number of equipped lifters as well.We are all looking forward to the action.List will be posted on bournemouthbarbell.co.uk over the weekend.This will be updated by next Wednesday.
