Just a quick question about bodyweight, mine fluctuates quite dramatically week to week. I'm looking at competing in the 83kg class next year and have been weighing myself every week at the same time and day. I've noticed that from one week to the next my weight fluctuates between 82 and 87kg.
I don't eat different things or do anymore or less training so just wondered if it was normal? Haha!

My mate sam weighs 116kg plus in person and on sugden is about a stone lighter if that helps!
If you are eating consistently (and drinking) then it may be normal for yourself!

mine fluctuates a tiny bit, a couple pounds here n there but not 5 kg. i have trained many people in the past who have had big weight fluctuations day to day.
obvious causes are time of day, water n food consumption, stress, toilet trips, using dif scales and moving portable scales to dif places and uneven floors

Over the months mine fluctuates a lot, eg. been as high as 107, and as low as about 88, since april, now 96
daily, maybe a couple of k +/- but nothing special

When are you weighing yourself?
you say same time of day, but if its later on in the day then its probably a difference in water weight.
Weight yourself first thing in the morning after a piss for more accurate results.
You'll always fluctuate a bit though pal.

Mine doesn't fluctuate at all.
I've gradually gained weight over the past few years at a slow/steady rate.

it seems that you dont have a steady diet, 5kg fluctuation is a lot!

I'll start weighing myself in the mornings, usually do it later on which might be where the fluctuation is as you said.
Definitely have a steady diet, I know pretty much exactly how much protein/carbs etc is in every meal I have so it's not my diet, I eat the same things pretty much every day (used to be really strict with what I ate due training more like a bodybuilder and even considered competing at one point)
