has a shit deadlift lockout Member 696, 379 posts SQ 240, BP 155, DL 265660.0 kgs @ 115kgs UnEq | I've taken on the position of lead Strength & Conditioning Coach at Moseley Rugby. As a full time professional squad its understandable that the athletes train a well eqipped facility. During the earlier part of pre-season we ran weights sessions in Birmingham universities' S&C Facility.. x2 Oly Platforms x2 Large Power Racks DB to 60kg Plenty of Olympic Plates, including full size 2.5kg, 5kg and Ivanko Bars Unfortunatly due to admin dificulties we have had to resort to using a Fitness First for the last month, I guess you guys can imagine my dismay at a gym with 5 different bench press benches/machines and only one piss poor squat rack. My question is... Do any of you guys know of any decent facilities that we could utilise in the Birmingham Area?

Member 86, 297 posts | Could try Jospeh Chamberlin college, we had the british there in 09. They have a couple of platforms IIRC. Hatchford Brook in Solihull has some good stuff but is small. Unfortunately the most s**thottest lifting gym in B'ham (if you want to learn to bomb on bench) is keyholders only
