Saw this video clip and thought the idea of a tire flip machine was a good idea

Nice bit of kit! Suppose the big advantage is you can easily add the weight. Old tire would be lot cheaper tho!

Looks good and saves having multiple tyres, you;re never gonna know the actual equivelent tyre weight though, not that that really matters.

i have a tire conversion table from Ontario strongman web site that has the weights of firestone, goodyear and bridgestone tire but not Michelin which is a shame. its pretty accurate too

but I think some styles of tyre feel heavier than others for some reason, even though the weights may be the same/similar.

very true my 350 tyre is harder to flip than the 400 at the gym as its thiner and has steel reinforcing. where the 400 hasnt and is thicker

but having a machine like that would be great for nailing technique and for getting use to similar movements

you could just have an attachment were you bolt on the tyre bit, but i suppose the max length of the machine would need to be the same length as a 300 or 350 tire.
