But, correct me if I'm wrong someone, that can't be classed as a power clean. It's a continental clean. I've done 140Kg in that manner, but my PB power clean is only 116Kg.

The PB chart just says power clean it doesnt specify any further than that, i'd bang your 140 on there if i were you

yeah i think originally we meant power cleans - i mean, we know f**k all, so for us continental has always been totally different lift

but aye, its not specified so its up for discussion. Personally i have my... f**k, both power clean and continental pbs are actually same

As an aside Al reckons that the term continental is used to cover getting a clean to your shoulders anyhow with a barbell. Like it or not every power clean on the PB sheet is a continental. Us kids nowadays know nothin. Personally I just like doing them, or at least I did. Laters.
