Yeah so its my birthday, I planned to stick to the plan and deadlift but I've buggered my hand, so plan B - FRONT SQUATS!!! With Paul, I hate squatting, Dudley!!!

But first, some one handed DLs Happy :
Bar x 5

100kg x 2
120kg x F - so bloody close, was not grip that failed (although twas close to) but balancing the bar!!! pleased though, suggests I won't fail a DL due to grip for a while yet!!

Front Squats:
Bar x 5
Bar x 5 - just getting used to making sure I have to do nothing with my hand, cross armed approach!
40kg x 5
60kg x 3
80kg x 1
80kg x 1
100kg x 1 - PB - COME ON!!!!!!!!!

Ab stuff, done!!!

Very pleased considering, hope my hand heals up soon...

I got one for my birthday and for the last couple of days have been doing some swings with it, Boars style (30 on 15 off for 12 sets). Bloody hard work (particularly on the lower back I find) but great fun. Atm two handed swings but hope to progress once my hand has healed.

To the first question, soon hopefully, got a fracture clinic appointment next monday Happy

To the second, I have broken a wee bone on the base of my little finger carpal (by the wrist) and it has swollen up like a balloon!!! Pulling things is fine, pushing however...OUCH!!!

Firstly tried to botch doing back squats, did not work, so stayed sensible!

Hack Squat machine:
Bw x 10
40kg x 10
60kg x 5 (x5)
30kg x 10 (x5)

These are bloody tough!!

Tried some gay hamstring curls, and they hurt, in a bad way!!!

Lots of core stuff, done!!

Forgot to post my training on Friday, but nowt special so won't bother!!

My legs were NAILED over the weekend, so me thinks 4 days in 1 week trainig legs is a bit OTT, down to 3 this week:

Hack Squats:
BW x 10
BW x 5
20kg x 5
40kg x 5
60kg x 5
80kg x 5 (x5)
40kg x 10 (x5)

Calf raises - built up to 120 for 10 (x5)

Ab stuff - crunches, hyper extensions, few more crunches!

Done!

Good news, hand isn't broken, still hurts like crazy though!!

30 on 15 off, tried some one handed stuff but didn't work out too well, must learn to walk before I run I spose!!

Towards the end was doing 20 swings every 30 seconds, next time I'll aim to do this throughout.

More leg press stuff today, but it bores me just thinking about it, so I can't be aresed writing anything down! My hand is still super gay!

However this is the plan for the next couple of weeks:
Week 1 - more leg stuff, highlight will be going for a front squat PB - come on 110!
Week 2 - rest + walking
Week 3 - hopefully hand will be better, light upper body stuff to get back into it
Week 4 - Back in business following this plan:

Mon - 531 Squat + Kettlebell work
Tue - 531 Bench + Grip work
Wed - Kettlebell work
Thu - 531 DL + Grip work
Fri - 531 MP + Kettlebell work
Sat - Kettlebell work
Sun - Grip work

Need to work out a regime from the grip stuff, I have a C.O.C trainer and no.2 with no.1 coming soon, so close to closing no.2!!

Thats the plan man.

Off to the BDFPA British Championships tomorrow to watch Paul_D compete, should be a good experience, bloody 5 o clock wake up though, better get to sleep!!

180kg x 1 - tough, but smooth, no hitch
185kg x 1 - PB - slight hitch at lockout mind!!
100kg x 1 - for 10 singles

Front Squats:

60kg x 2
80kg x 1
100kg x 1 - EASY!!!
110kg x F - stupid time to go for one really.

Bazza got a 130kg pb DL and 60kg PB bench, good man!!!
