Ibuprofen (over)use

I take probably 400mg a day of this just to get past the aches and pains of training

I'm amazed by the amount of painkiller usage that goes on among lifters. Some guys seem to live on pills! I haven't taken a painkiller for many years, and NEVER due to lifting pains or injuries.

I personally prefer the stiffest possible.

I find Ibuprofen to have a very mild effect. Its always better to sort the root of the problem. Maybe try some stretching or go and see someone.

im 31, used em for years mate. probably getting heavy usage for the last 4/5 years of my weightlifting career and then stright thru into strongman. not injuries tho just general wear and tear. ive been squatting ass to grass since i was 13 yrs old. my knees arnt happy.
