L & R x 28kgs (snatched!)

R x 44kgs, failed left, just.

Incline DB Press

Notes
Enjoyed tonight. The power clean and push press was hard work, enjoying the reps tho. The elbow sleeves got ditched after the first set as they were cutting off the circulation to my hands and my grip was ruined!

Strict press is still really poor, we'll get there tho

Remembered why I havent done incline db press for so long, shooting pain in my left delt - feels like a nerve or something. Still, if incline bench is good enough for Terry Hollands, its good enough for me!

Speed Deadlifts (90 secs rest between each set)
3 x 155kgs

3 Circuits of... (90 secs between exercises)
Stiff leg deadlift - 8 x 120kgs
Bent over row - 8 x 80kgs
Rev grip lat pd - 8 x 85kgs
Arched back gm - 8 x 50kgs

Notes:
The 192.5kgs was ugly as f**k, shouldnt be though. The 130kgs warm-up was perhaps the sweetest pull ive ever done. You know when you hit a golf ball and you just catch it right? It felt like that! Spent the rest of the session trying and failing to recreate that.
The first 6 sets of speed deadlifts were sweet, last 2 were a grind.
Double overhand grip is holding me back on SLDLs, grip is going waaaaay before my hamstrings / back, only managed to get 6 on the last set.
2 down, 8 to go.

Found out today im getting finished from my job of 7 years, real kick in the balls so wasnt really focused on training, just wanted to get out the house.

f**ked about with hook grip on the deads, dunno if it makes much difference or not, didnt fancy trying it on the 205kgs tho.

Tried a bit of back squatting, got a shooting pain in the base of my spine - not good.

Had a go at the rower, dunno if thats a good time but it felt like my lungs and forearms were going to burst!

now then , give me some tips for the rower ...does the number you set it to matter ? its not just for resistance i believe ...and do you have freak limbs ?

i cant imagine myself goin faster, is ther som e trick i need to prize from you?

Boar, I have no idea as that is the first time ive ever sat on a rower in my life.

I set it to 10 (assuming that the harder the resistance the more metres you'll "travel" per pull)

And yes, Im a leggy lovely with chimp arms (6ft 4in).
