dont know about the commitment, I would starve if i didnt...Butty box, flask of green tea, bottle of water, plenty of fruit, struglle to put on weight as i burn so many calories at work.
i dont go out of my way to make anything special...
Like the odd steak, but heavier meat makes me sluggish.

Be careful where you get your chicken from. I've spent years going from one source to other and there is a lot of s**t out there.

I'm very lucky that I get my chicken for free and it's from Devon.... non of this dutch s**t!!!

My butchers sell it normally at £5 a kilo, it used to be £4.

I just buy mine in Tesco or Asda, really should start bulk buying more I suppose, as I am spending nearly £90 on tuna alone each month.

The supermarket stuffs are tiny cuts and overpriced.

I'll have to check out the market option but I use Costco and buy slabs of all sorts of meat for a fraction of the supermarket price. All you have to do is put it in the oven for a couple of hours and its done. Easy meat for several days Wink And the meat there is good enough for restaurants!
Smoked whole salmon is great cus you can just pull a portion off without worrying about prep and cooking. I think smoking retains more oils compared to cooking other ways too?

The only cheaper alternative I could think of is to grow your own meat. Like a couple of goats tied up to the squat rack in the back yard. Us islanders know about that

You can get meat dirt dirt cheap if you eat parts of the animal which are not "popular" with the public, such as pig trotters/cheek, belly pork, beef feather steak

Mark F-Fish heads!?? WTF doesn't sound nice, and your kids love em! wow. Better than sweets and all the crap that is marketed as kids food though.

Mark C- I would've thought you were hardcore when it comes to diet. You must eat a lot at least, cos you seem to train every day.

Good stuff Mark. Apparently (according to a thread on another forum) all this eating 6-8 times a day is bollox now and you're best off only having a few big meals. Or summit like that, there always seems to be evidence to prove or disprove any diet theories and then they all change anyway. Best do what you want I reckon, less stress.

Martin- My dog? What's my dog staring at?? You askin me what my dogs staring at??? Whats your dog staring at mate?
