The young lad (17 ish) was really impressive to watch... forgot his name (sorry) but he went well, cracking pulling at the end for him too ! Mark was really impressive, not just the strength but his strict form on all of the lifts... good stuff indeed !! | ||

Gutted for Paul bombing on bench but big kudos to him for carrying on and getting a deadlift pb, and well done to the other 4 of 'my' lads who all did themselves proud. | ||

Thanks moz, and thanks andy, you were a big help today with warm ups and straps and all the usual bits. Thanks to NW (i.e Bryn and jim) nice friendly atmosphere and a nice turn out of spectators who were all very vocal in there support, it may be a small venue, but it was packed out. | ||

Well done to everyone involved - the refs, loaders, scoreboard, ladies behind the desk - faultless. Too many good lifters to go through them all but Jake, Tom, Joe lookng really strong, and Moz doing a big bench. Two British junior records from Chris and Liam and Mr Felix's big pull right at the end - all bodes well for North West GBPF. Ste Turner spoke to me but I'll need a few more years up here to even begin to guess at what he was talking about. | ||
