Yes - but not with the BPC anymore, and not with 380 anymore either!! Over to you now for the big numbers mate.
I have been informed that I am Masters all year next year and not just from after my birthday, so I will be able to lift in both Masters and Open cats from the off.

I competed on the first day alongside my brother. I wish I could have stuck around to see some of the other lifting but I dont think my student loan money will stretch that far!

I managaed a 220/90/210 for 3rd place in the 75kg juniors. My brother got 225/120/195 for 2nd place, we were beaten by Callum Cook who got a 230 squat but im not sure what else. Apparently an American kid in the 75s in the teens put in some crazy numbers, would have destroyed all the juniors, probably most of the open lifters too!

Did all the days go on for as long as the first one did? It was the longest day of powerlifting ive ever known!

He was a monster, reckon he must have had 40" thighs!

Other highlights for me

1.) Watching Mendleson walk right in front of the dancers resulting in them having to restart.
2.) One of the loaders couldn't load a 50 plate on the dl bar and had to get someone else in, probably got put off by a few of us laughing at him.
3.) Big Ginger belguim chap holding his chin after Bulldog slapping him to hard in the build up

Was really impressed by the squats. Watched a couple of youtube vids from last year and was expecting everything to be silly high. I'm not going to say all the passed where to depth but there was a reason why so many bombed!

The DL has still got me confused! The first lifter put 220 on the bar (bearing in mind i'm watching 110 - 140+). It took about 7 or 8 lifters to get to 300! The heaviest lift was something like 350!!?!? Surely geared up lifters in gear should be pulling silly numbers.

Another real bonus was being able to stock up on clothing. Metal t's for £12!!
