Although always subject to change, here are the events for the 2009 World’s Strongest Man contest.

Cant wait to watch this - does anyone know which channel its going to be on this year?Just read the boat pull event - wondering if its the QE2?

I heard that the reason there is no BSM this year is that Channel 5 have dropped it on a temporary basis.

Is it not in Malta this year?
would of been good to see a farmers tire flip and drag medley. but i suppose thats there is something similar to that all the time in WSM

the final events look very good for murumets if he goes. he'd be very hard to beat in the farmers, deadlift hold and arm over arm and would be there or thereabouts in the rest of the events.
