Hows the boxing? got any K-Os yet? Grin Grin

The only KO Ive had is to the boxing itself. Im working a lot of hours at the moment due to the Mrs being off work and about to drop a sprog; I dont want to fit in a busy work life and parenthood around boxing (the club is only open at set times). That and I miss the lifting big time. However, some good has come out of it in that Im 90kgs so may have a bash at this next year in the BDFPA southerns. Thats provided I can lay off the food a bit!

Anyway, great squatting, although I have to admit you come down very fast.

dude that looked like my old squats technique. you need to address it pronto. f**k going for the 210 and 205 work work work on your technique and i'm sure you will benefit from it. stuff like staying more up right and pushing your chest out more and keeping the core tight comes to mind.

i found just getting someone with the right knowledge looking at my set up and that helped alot.
if you stay close to where some of the others train, it might be worth a trip and coaching session. just an idea, but you never going to squat heavy with form like that IMO. not trying to be nasty when i say that T

was watchin JCVD (bit s**t :P)

Wed 19th aug 09

Deadlifts

Slippers, belt and straps

20x10
60x5
100x5
140x3
180x1 Belt on! sticking on my legs again so kept shorts down rather than rollin up like usual!
220x1 Smoke show, hook grip on this with no chalk
250x2 Looked harder than it felt, still slow at the top! def weakness of mine now!
260x1+f straight to 220x1 beltless Thought f**k it and decided to go 260 for a double, head wasnt 100% in it and could psyche up quite as good as usual. Second rep was well past the knees but no chance of locking out without a hitch! dropped the weight, took off my belt and a 15 from each side and did a rep on 220. A double on 260 is def there just need more ooomph! 600lb deadlift is close!

Paused comp bench

20x10
60x5
100x3 Doesnt feel light!
120x1
130x1
145x1+f - 125x2 - 100x5 Drop set! WTF failed my second rep at 145 :S! my bench has gone to sh!te, my triceps seem to fatigue quickly!
140x2+f - 120x1 - 100x2 Bit better and more condifent double but again triceps wouldnt get the third stalling about 10 inch off the chest! bench needs some work tom!!!

Seated dumbell military press

30kg x 10, 7, 5,4 Gosh my triceps are CRAP! didnt even feel these in the shoulders in the slightest! just my tris when it stalls half way up! Really bad endurance in them! more tricep work needed i think! i would like to try some board presses sometime

Machine Row

40x10, 6
30x7,6,5 straight to 20x5 Didnt feel these in my back at all, biceps fatiguing quickly! seems my arms are a weak point in upper body stuff in the minute!

Fun enough session! Not too worried about the bench as i am confident i can smash out 150 most of the time, seem a way of 160 at the minute though! No biggie

How did that work 260 - a 15 each side = 230
