I said last week I wouldn't water cut to make weight. https://i.imgur.com/j95OSVPh.jpg 114.6kg this morning and still loading, going same again today carbs and salt high till thursday so should get a decent 2-3kg drop for saturday. 113 for tomorrow be cushty. Deadlift on DL bar and comp plates 70 120 170 210 x 5 210 x 5 210 x 5 210 x 5 210 x 5 Been doing first set with belt and no straps, felt f**king s**te, sets with straps and no belt felt better and some reps felt good. High bar squat on retard longo dead weight SS Squat bar 75 125 175 195 x 5 195 x 5 195 x 5 195 x 5 195 x 5 225 x 1 These felt amazing by the end was gonna do a wee 245 single but 225 felt heavy enough that I left it there. 245 would have been easy but would have had to try and I am squatting again Wed so no need. | ||

no really Irish Member 1196, 5908 posts SQ 312, BP 230, DL 320862.0 kgs @ 114kgs UnEq | Post Edited: 30.07.2019 @ 09:35 AM by IrishMarc Saturday - Weigh in 20 min of incline walking and machine circuit to drop 300g Weighed - 109.9kg Sunday Competition Squats - 240 - good lift, seen stars on way up still dehydrated 260 - good lift, fine but felt a bit heavy 272.5 - good lift, again fine but had to work for it Bench Press 200 - good lift, fine lacking speed from the chest 212.5 - good lift, bit of an arm wrestle, 2.5kg PB 220 - fail, got it moving and could have ground it but arse came off so just let spotters take it Deadlift - 280 - good lift, felt pretty smooth but not as fast as would like 300 - never in doubt but slowed past the knee 307.5 - fail, got it to knee but didn't get a good enough brace or air at start to lock it so missed it. Total - 785 - all things considered happy enough, about what I had to give on the day. Won best lifter. | ||
