I was so close to giving up on the 9th, didn't think I had a 10th in me.....but 10's a nice round number, so it had to go.

That's some bloody good squatting right there! High reps are hellish at reasonable weights, let alone when you have 500lbs across your shoulders.

What's your 1rm at the moment Ben?

Not sure of my current 1RM- did a fairly easy 272.5kg highbar, belt & sleeve last week, rekon another 10kg+ there ( www.instagram.com/p/BVTxfYnjroo )

I've not tried lowbar for ages, but am reintroducing it next week- historically it's about 20kg above my highbar. Best I've done is 300kg lowbar with wraps ages ago, but it think I'd be maybe 15-20kg over that now?

I'll get the work in over the next 6-8 weeks, then try out some singles to see where I'm at.

It's your most impressive video yet. I love watching one rep max deadlift videos, but heavy squats for reps (when done correctly) are beautiful!!

You've got me thinking now - I've been off-piste training plan wise for a couple of months (holidays etc) and haven't jumped back into any properly structured training yet.

I may very well load the bar up on Wednesday evening and see what weight can be squatted for 10 reps (provided it's not as hot as hell of course Grin )

I went for 250kg but only got five Grin

I got a hotspot in my groin on the 4th rep and it got worse on the 5th (very acute pain, what I imagine a hernia feels like).

I get this occasionally and I've had it a couple of times over the last few weeks as a result of adjusting my belt (I think it must have shrunk in the hot weather Grin )

I was going good as well....
