I'm not a chemist (perhaps more knowledgable sugdenites might know more) but shouldn't the samples if re-tested indicate synthetic testosterone?
Reading further on this CIR method - The carbon isotope ratio (CIR) test examines the atomic make-up of testosterone in urine to determine if it is natural or synthetic. Costing around £250, it is generally only used when the more standard testosterone to epitestosterone (TE) test indicates that an athlete's levels of the naturally occurring hormones testosterone and epitestosterone are greater than a ratio of four to one.
If an athlete was using testosterone to cheat, levels of testosterone would increase but the amount of epitestosterone in their body would not. CIR testing can be used retrospectively, so investigators could go back and examine samples collected in previous years.

Do your homework I lifted for many years very successfully and passed 7 drug test's think that might tell you something.

Your standpoint appears to be that most top level athletes use, I agree with you.
I think it's a bit rich to criticise those competing and using - because that was you a while back.

Surely one failed test somewhat overshadows the 7 passed ones.

not criticising anyone who uses just measly pointing out most that slate those that do are more than probably using themselves but pretend they don't.
After all it really is part of the sport if you wish to compete at a decent level.

Avoiding a positive test is part of the game. Rules say clean when tested that also can and is interpreted as take anything you want to but don't get caught

Yes we get it you got away with it for ages before getting caught but that doesnt mean every f**ker is on gear!

Moat sportsmen at the top level are though and anyone who thinks otherwise is naive.
