Budget? Stance? Velcro gives you the option of tight for max or looser for reps if it's strongman.

A guy before said "not fussed about the cost" and then he had a look at Metal suits and changed his mind.

Squat suits work well for deadlifts, just don't go for the v-types as these are for wider squatters and sumo deadlifters.

Titan Centurion also has good feedback when used for deadlifts.

I'd say dont buy a squat suit...buy a specialist DL suit

I and others guys who I know who've tried pulling in a squat suit have got sweet FA out of them

I used to lift in a metal squat suit and got 30kg+ out of them, but that was sumo. I also know of SUMO lifters who were getting 30kg+ from a titan centurion.

If it's only for deadlifts though (espcially conventional stance), I would agree with JT.

I use an inzer fusion, great suit, it did stretch out slightly but just got it back having had the straps shortened today and it feels better.

I remember reading somewhere that they have a European supplier now but can't remember who it is.

JT said for him to get a specific suit, and loads of people who have used squat suits don't get anything. I've used squat suits that give a lot more than deadlift suits, and so have quite a few others.

I think the OP should maybe try a few suits out to see which one works the best, and don't rule anything out. Only problem is, who's going to lend him a suit to try out.
