Good morning gentlemen of sugden.

I have a pair of titan wrist wraps which are pretty decent and get the job done, however the velcro is on its last legs despite the fact that I havnt actually given them that much abuse.

Could anyone recommend me some wrist wraps which are likely to last a long time? Preferably not too expensive.

Thank you!

I've had a pair from strength shop that have lasted a while, however the velcro is stating to lose it's power.

I recently tried some SBD ones, and after some initial concern with them, grew to find them rather enjoyable.

What was the initial concern?

I like sbd. Im sure their wrist wraps are very good. Can anyone confirm that the velcro lasts a long time?

My concern was length.

I was used to a lengthy pair from strength shop, and the ones tried from SBD were very short and stumpy, but also VERY stiff. Once I had tried them on a few times to find their sweet spot and fitting, it became an enjoyable experience.

Sometimes my Thor strength shop ones peel open mid press, and this upsets me. If I ever return to lifting, I may purchase some SBD ones.

I got rubber bands, that the postman left, and used them over my wrist wraps when the Velcro failed. Still working Grin

Currently using metal ones which have far outlasted both SBD and SS ones I had before

Do you keep them lubricated to prevent rust? Also, are they abrasive against your skin?

The SBD wrist wraps are very nice. As are Cerberus.

They are non-ferrous in nature despite the orange appearance.

On an abrasiveness scale of 1 - 10, 1 been the silky soft plumage of a new born gosling and 10 been Waynes toilet paper, I'd give them a solid 6

Another vote for the Cerberus.
I've got the red version and actually prefer them to my mates SBDs.
I suppose the only other factor there is that Cerberus aren't official IPF affiliated kit; unlike SBD.

very much appreciate the suggestions. I will add though that they have to be IPF spec

My main problems with SBD wraps was that the velcro was a bit rubbish and didn't last. A problem when they are 30 quid a pop.
