Ive some strength shop Odins im very fond of. The velcro was dying after a year, but it cost about £1 to buy some serious velcro, and they've been staying strong for years since that was put on.

How does one go about getting the velcro put on?

One marries a lady whos mother owns a sewing machine, and then ask your mother in law nicely.

So bloody of putting when your wrist wrap unwinds mid press, usually go to my local fabric shop they charge about £3.00 for extra strenght Velcro and will even put it on for you if they have time, but this leads me to a question, if you have the Velcro replaced will you still be able to use them in a Bdfpa meet obviously keeping the length the same?

My main problems with SBD wraps was that the velcro was a bit rubbish and didn't last. A problem when they are 30 quid a pop.

Velcro was crap when first released, they changed the velcro type late 2015 early 2016. All good now.

Across the years Metal wraps have consistently been the hardest wearing. In fact I have only replaced a metal wrap because I 'fancied' a change. Just bought some metal orange wraps.

yeah im starting to think thats going to be the deciding factor ^

whats the general consensus on long vs short and hard vs floppy? loal

I think i might be leaning towards long an floppy rather than short and hard. Long and hard might be a bit too much to handle.

Depends on what you are using them for. I prefer a softer wrap for overhead stuff vs heavy bench etc.
