This pull is from this afternoon, when i tried to lock out the weight it was like i was pulling against a wall.

Your hips are locked out too early, but it looks like you could've locked that out, just look up and keep pulling.

Ok I'm really not the guy for sumo advice but what your doing is pretty much conventional with a wide stance. Sit back in your heels, push knees out and keep shins more vertical. You need to use more leg drive instead of just using your back.
