No exceptions and no ‘cheque’s in the post.’ This is the venue for those of you that haven’t seen the poster… Fitness First Pengam Green Cardiff CF24 2UD All competitors are required to be there for 10:00 as we’ll be going through rules and you’ll find out who’s first out in Event 1. 105s can arrive from 9:00 onwards to weigh in and then return for 10:00 along with everyone else - again, no exceptions. The comp will be going ahead whatever the weather as we have a lovely flat concrete surface but fingers crossed it’ll be fine on the day. Although there will be vending machines available at the gym and also a burger van selling hot and cold drinks, we would advise all competitors to bring their own fluids on the day. All competitors will have to bring something to heat tacky as we won’t be able to provide a microwave at the venue as there will be tacky up the walls and all over the floor because as we all know the stuff sticks like sh*t to a blanket and it’ll get everywhere. If you can invest in a plumber’s blowtorch between a few of you if you train together then that would be the way forward. Please can you bring any money you have been able to raise with you on the day as there will be a prize for the most successful fundraiser but this prize will go to the person who has brought the money with him. Otherwise, we’ll have another ‘cheque’s in the post’ situation on our hands. Good luck to everyone and we’ll see you on Sunday morning. Cheers | ||
