Apologies to everyone for the venue change mid-way, but I think in hindsight it was definitely the right decision. Still did the comp in about 2 3/4 hours from start to finish, which was our aim. Thanks to all the helpers, refs, timekeepers, Friday, Ozi, Old Man, Pauly, Bernie, spot on job by all. Nick my comp running buddy for oppressing the rage and not killing anyone, and for having his gym wrecked! Probably busy at the joinery as we speak  Really happy with 6 competitors, 50% more than last year, and standard has gone up loads since the comp last year. Jeremy and Stuart were well deserved 1st and 2nd, and will be worthy representatives at the British later in the year. Stuart was crazy strong, knew he'd be good on the static stuff, but good on the medley, and won the hold comfortably with plenty more in the tank. Jeremy big improvement from last year. Lowish placing on the hold cost him a few points, but won the medley comfortably, and the squat too. Ben, massive improvements made since the autumn novice comp, and a well deserved 3rd place. No weak events really, consistent all through the comp. Youngy, good to see an event win in his Banker DB event, and squats were awesome, plenty more in the tank there! Dave, ballsy as always, plenty PB's throughout the comp and gutsy performance of the day for me.
