We had a Bulk-o-thon today, with almost constant eating (well in my case drinking!). For those who are curious, my smoothies contain bananas, oats, pea protein, oil and cinnamon.

This is what I ate:

800 - smoothie - 850cal
Then I went back to bed again, and slept until 10.00
1015 - two very thick slices of toast, with marg and jam - 600cal
1130 - super mega smoothie. Calculated to contain 1370cal
1315 - alpro fruit yoghurt 500g - 400cal
1400 - alpro 500ml choc shake - 400cal
1500 - pitta breads x2 - 330cal
1530 - 200g swedish glace - 400cal
1700 - smoothie - 850cal
1845 - 2 Fry's Burgers with peas and young green soy beans - 450cal
1935 - alpro natural yoghurt - 300cal
2050 - super smoothie, 1150cal, vomitted after this
2120 - 500ml orange juice - 200cal
2300 - smoothie - 1000cal (calculated carefully to make 8k)

Final total - 8400cal

minus 400 for vomiting

So 8000cal for the day, which is a 1300cal pb. I feel sick!

This challenge was also done by Buzz and Joni Grin

Who won?

Not a bad effort mate.. vomitting though.. that's a step too far. Though as you live in Scotland I suppose I can understand you being slightly less civilised Wink

jonathan won - i had too much on for saturday like going to a demonstration/picket line for the striking workers at JJB Sports, and meeting bunch of friends in the evening and getting stuck to a f**king pub without any food with me Wink

So that explains the lack of high fat foods which would have pumped things up, and lack of smoothies which are always easy to down.

Heres my tally:

9:00 - cereal, flax, soya milk etc. 520 cals.
9:50 - toast with marg, tahini, marmite, soya yoghurt, orange juice - 617
10:25 - pea protein, pineapple juice, ground flaxseed shake - 536
13:00 - chocolate soya drink - 175
13:30 big bowl of chilli, cous cous salad, two buns with marg - at least 1500
16:00 two linda mccartneys pies - 906
16:15 orange juice 84
19.00 curry meal: spinach, lentil, fried rice, rotis, papadoums - at least 1500
21.30 4dl of orange juice at the pub - 168
22.35 almond chocolate bar - 277
23:00 flax seed tortillas and salsa - 452
23.30 3rd of that new awesome vegan white chocolate bar and 2dl of orange juice - 299

total: 7034

2000 cals in a day?! HOLY s**t! I think I expend more energy taking a dumpGrin

Over any given week I average around 4k a day, it needs to be nearer to 5-6k, but I just cant afford that kind of eating right now!

whoah good eating yesterday, well, loads of junk but f**k it, GFH!

- breakfast of cereals, flax, soya milk, orange juice
- pineapple, pea protein, ground flax seed smoothie
- chocolate soya drink
- two linda mccartneys pies (there are four in the pack, ate two yesterday, had to finish them today!)
- chickpea curry with fried rice
- another smoothie: pineapple, pea protein, ground flax seed post workout, so couple dl more pineapple juice
- dinner: noodles with chickpeas, peas, onions, broccoli, rapeseed oil, 4 slices of toast with marg
- another 3rd of that white chocolate
- bag of vegetable crisps, soya yoghurt
- another typical smoothie

cant be eating this much every day though Grin

7-8k calories is excessive but 2k for anyone training is absolutely pathetic... i like to stick to the 3.5-4.5k calories on any given day.. 2k a day is a bloody cut

I eat between 3.5k and 5 k cals a day. I cant eat any more as my body is too efficient at storage lol. I count grams of specific nutrients instead of cals tho.
