Member 3807, 302 posts SQ 320, BP 160, DL 320800.0 kgs @ 145kgs UnEq | I'm terrible for leaning back whilst log pressing for some reason I can't seem to stand more upright I managed to do it once last night and 100kg absolutely flew up stupidly easy any suggestions would be much appreciated | ||

Rock forward you spill and rock backwards you spill. Core strength I doubt would be a major issue come to think of it but squeezing your glutes and consciously engaging your core should give you a nice neutral posture to press from. | ||

Cool thanks for the advice bud i like I said last night I got a good up right position for one press and it flew up, I will defo put your advice into action as soon as possible | ||

I'm now trying to embrace it! (below is a recent example...) | ||

That's what I did I after a while but then discovered by accident last night that my pressing is stronger when more upright after my first rep on the 100kg log was pretty hard then my second rep was really easy | ||
