I got my log from strength shop it's 323mm wide one cost about 200 I think, nice solid log weighs 45kg empty although I've heard great things about other ones might be well worth the money for a good piece of high quality kit.

Thanks man, im 19 now getting old lol, hopefully be on for a 320kg squat and deadlift in the next 3-4 weeks

cheers man, widened my deadlift grip putting my middle finger on the metal rings. this allows me to get my shoulders back and hips through easier.

Really happy not done axle in over a year so with some tech work and some volume training should be able to bump it up to 150 shortly

Highlands strongest man 2015

Event 1: Car Deadlift
really really light could only have been 200kg did 57 reps got 2nd place was more like a crossfit event than anything

Event 2: loading Medley
4x120kg sandbags only got 1 bag just couldnt lift another my fault for not being prepared enough

Event 3: Log Press

80kg
100kg
110kg
120kg
130kg just missed

Event 4: Conans Wheel
240kg got half turn with it before stumbling didnt feel heavy just tried to go to fast

event 5: stones
140kgx1
160kgx1 2nd place

got 2nd overall was really suprised with myself didnt feel like i was at my best going in to this comp so happy with 2nd
