Warm up with bar, 5 mins various clean and press, stiff leg d/lifts etc.

Deadlifts

10 reps @ 60kg
5 x 100 kg
5x105kg
5 x 145kg
3 x 165 kg
7 x 185kg
Then 4 x 12 reps @ 120kg concentrating on technique.

Pleased with this as my lower back muscles felt fatigued warming up, felt really pumped in lower back but got 7 reps with 185kg which is the same reps as last month but 5kg higher

Was just going to do two sets of 12 with the 120 but wanted to get a bit more work in.

Leg raises on bench 3 x 30 reps

Strict barbell curl
20 reps with 20kg bar
3x10reps @ 30kg

Strict Military Press
20 reps with bar
10 reps @ 30kg
5 reps @ 40kg
3 reps @ 45kg
5 reps @ 50kg

Then 4 x 10reps @ 40kg

Dumbell bench press 4x12 reps @ 25kg

Dumbell Tate tricep press 2x20 reps @ 15kg

Dumbell tricep extension behind head 2x15 reps @ 20kg

Deload week (dare I say it)Grin next week then increase all weights again next phase.Happy

D/B Hammer curls 3x15 reps @ 15kg

Swings from between legs to overhead with 22.5kg D/Bell 3x20 reps, might start to incorporate these into warm ups as they seem to involve most muscle groups!

D/B side bends 2x30 reps each side with 22.5kg.

Going to see Metallica in Manchester Thursday eve so no training 'till Sat, well it is DELOAD week right?? Grin Wink

Swings from between legs to overhead with 22.5kg D/Bell 3x20 reps, might start to incorporate these into warm ups as they seem to involve most muscle groups


these are as good as kettlebell swings !!

Looking to do the GBPF South Yorks Unequipped in June, will be competing in the 110kg class, will probably be well outclassed cos I aint got the strength to go with my weight yet but did the BAWLA Yorks and North East Champs last year and really enjoyed it.

I'm 44 yrs young mate so will be competing in the M1 category, I need to check this out to be sure, I think it works in 10 year age groups?? I've heard the entries for the South Yorks Comps fill up pretty quickly.

Then 40 mins of pumping: lat pulldowns, pressups, pushdowns, face pulls, etc.
