wanted 305 on deadlift but got exactly what I could deadlift weights felt heavy unfortunately but understandable given Mondays dead , was surprised at the 115 triple, warm ups were BAAAD stiff and slow then 110 and 115 power turned on , very hard at the moment as I mentally want to train every day but I know that's the quickest route to snapcity

Great work mate!

Not sure you remember me, I was down at SV a few months back, with my brother, we did some stiff leg deadlift work.

Will keep an eye on your progress. Best of luck pal.

yeh always remember a good lifter with good lifting manners-(puts their s**t away) and asks good intelligent questions , have you adopted some more of the andy Bolton methodology on your deadlift

at all costs , just means raining in fully going for lifts across the board at the same time I think , just planning the next phase of the log work , somehow have to get the stricts back in as they seem to be crucial but after pp at moment I have no shoulder strength left

haha, thanks pal!

To be honest I haven't, as such, I've really put an emphasis on speed work, but the majority of my deadlifting work has been heavy stiff legs, and then triples and singles on conventional deadlifts once a week. Slowly but surely building up.

Hadn't noticed your 300kg lift before! Good job. Competing at Bolton Strongman this year?

not as yet but perhaps if someone drops out , planning overall less strongman this year 1 or 2 comps with the majority of the focus on the powerlifts and overhead , Bolton's is more a cardio fest this year which just doesn't appeal or fall in line with my long term goals of getting stronger

Nice work on the log Josh.

Next SV trip should be March 16th if you fancy it? (I take it you were referring to me with your 'arm over arm king' comment? Wink )
