I have always had big problems fitting in my meals with work, college and other similar commitments. I'm lucky enough to only work part time and my college is very near to me but when i work a full saturday i will get 1 meal in within the space of 6 hours where i would normally have 3. How do you guys manage your meals with work and commitments?

Make or buy some protein bars. I like the Pro-Flapjack ones (20 quid for 24 from monstersupplements.com).

Stick a shaker in your bag with a meal replacement or something, pop up for a piss or whatever and get it down.

depends on work really.

Personally i sit on my arse all day in front of a computer. I have a dedicated food drawer in my desk.

Lets see... (opens the drawer), what do we have here...

3 soya chocolate drinks
3 hempower bars (hemp seed, peanut butter bars)
2 small weak ass sainsbury walnut cereal bars
block of halva (loads of calories!)
some cream custard cookies (sainsburys trufree dairy free etc)
one n'ked raw bar
dark mint chocolate
some candy
jar of multivitamines

i keep stacking it all the time, and eating what ever i fancy. Chocolate soya drinks are a must, i drink one every working day, at least.

haha 'food drawer' nice idea

when im at uni i get a litre of milk for each morning and drink it steadily through the morning and one for the afternoon as well. I also quickly a deep fill sandwich from tesco in the morn/afternoon between lectures.

So a typical days eating at uni is

10 am
1 litre milk (or chocolate milk Tongue)
deep fill sandwich

12:30 ish
tuna sandwiches (made at home)
(sometimes pint of milk)

3:00 pm
1 litre milk
deep fill sandwich

I have one of these at work too!

Last time I checked I think it had jelly babies, lollies, chocolate, choc chip cookies.

These are (SUPPOSED) to be for the kids though. Mine's all in my bag next to me Grin

Where I work is fairly easy about popping away from your desk every now and then and eating while working, so I don't have too much trouble as long as I remember to actually buy some food.

I have a protein bar mid morning, and probably some dried fruit and nuts. Afternoon I have fruit, yoghurts. Sometimes I eat a bowl of tuna at my desk. People probably think it's a bit eccentric but nobody's overly bothered.

I'm lucky when i'm reporting from home, I can just shovel food in all day, plus endless cups of tea, shakes and suchlike.

Site days though, are always a bas***d. Even if I manage to prepare stuff, I rarely get time to eat it all. I try and take easy to eat stuff I can scoff in traffic like TREK bars, SOYcrispies, ready to eat veggie sausages etc.

If you work at M&S there is no excuse not to be HAYUGE. Cracking calorific chocolate milk, ready roasted chicken, good sandwiches, giant sausage rolls etc etc, surely you get some kind of discount on the food?

Mate you have no idea. I actually hit 109 when i got injured as put into jonny words, operation 'dude were's my abs' went swimmingly. Every night when store closes all the food with that days date on is sold to us for next to nothing. Whole chickens for 60p, sandwiches 25p, whole joints £1.50. I got the hook upWink
