I think you could have something there with the higher reps, 240 x 10 would be a manly goal. I think anything over 227 x 10 would also be the s**t.

Militairy press, 60x8, 70x3, 80x3, 85x3, 90x2, 95x1, 100x1, 90x2, 90x1.

Felt good after 11 days off the weights.I want 10x3 x 230 or 3x5 in short order.

Clean + strict press,62x8, 82x3, 92x2.

Clean + Push press, 102x1, 115xf,f,f, 105x1, 107.5xf, 102x1, 105x1, 107.5x1, 115xf, 105x1, 110x1, 115xf,f.

I was wound up all day determined to nail 115 on the fat log, as the stepping stone towards a 125 before this year is out. Working out in the rain all day, then travelling 50 miles just to get that bas***d log.Grin
On a better note, this is the most (110) i've done so far on the fat log after just 3 seperate workouts on it, plus got to meet a few more lads, Alex, Pete, Moz
and Cookie, sorry i didn't catch the names of the other two
Saw some solid squats and benches performed.

fairplay mate, you had a good few stabs at 115 !! deffo on the cards , you would have done some damage at the dragon comp if you could have made 90kg's you fat sod.

I think the log workout was too close to Sundays overheads( thats my excuse). I'm about 95k at the mo which is my fighting weight really.
I was thinking a lot about cutting for this competition but in reality i want to get up to 100k and have a stab at the SSM2 if i can get in.
Hopefully this Sunday i can get back up ( work permitting) to the Olympic to cheer all you f**kas on!

That fat log takes some getting used to (for me). I thought i'd have better carryover from my barbell presses. Practice,practice,practice.

Deadlift ( no straps), 70x5, 110x3, 150x3, 190x1, 210x1, 230x3, 230x4, 215x8 PB.

Short n Sweet, f**ked from work. Admittedly the 8th rep was after a 20 second rest pause. On my way to 220x10 then 230x10 ( the big goal)
