Agree with Mr Fleet, there is no point asking advice from experienced guys if you think you know better.

cheers turbo, I was pleased that I can atleast squat as much as I can bench, would be a bit weird if I couldn't!!!

i reackon if u train properly ye squats will keep passing and leaveing ye bench behind too and ye comp sunday mike cheers mate Happy

cheers lurkio and erm to be honest mate at the min just hopeing to even make 75kg ha ha i piled the weight on and what ever i get on the day is just a marker really get a total and im the future no diets just stay fat lol and aim to anayalate the old total and seeming that might not be till next year that i get that chance then would have to have a big think ov why i havent cause in 7-8 months i think an extra 10-15kg maybe on each lift

went my first all 3 lift comp today the lancs and cheshire and it was good enjoyed it and the lifts went like this.

1st squat 130kg good lift
2nd squat 140kg good lift
3rd squat 145kg good lift

then 1st bench 90kg good lift
2nd 95kg good lift
and 3rd did want to go 4 97.5 but got egged on to go 4 100 and failed Unhappy

deadlifts 1st lift 185kg good lift
2nd deadlift 195kg good lift
3rd deadlift 205kg good lift

total 445kg not too bad 4 first comp and only 5 months training under my belt more to come carnt wait Happy

cheers boar and made the weight by 1 kg he he some sweatting i did last night lost a kilo Happy and that deadlift went mate was made up Happy

One piece of advice, one that has helped me enormously, find a good coach and just do everything he says. Lifters lift, coaches coach, the coach does the thinking- it takes all the guess work out of it. Good work btw and just stick with it keep competing.

feel like ive heard this b4 ha ha lol and cheers will do just going to be listening to martin he got me into the powerlifting so ill stick to his knowledge and learn the best i can Happy
